We’d like to welcome you to a passion project envisioned by the husband and wife team of J and K Carr. Brew Lagoon is the culmination of years of research into the things that bring us joy.

Since our first trip to Oahu, we have shared a love for Hawaiian-inspired culture, flavored by an appreciation for the retro aesthetic of the Atomic Age. Our search for the perfect Mai-Tai has led us to undertake many rum-soaked adventures across the U.S. and abroad! We have filled our lives with Tiki mugs, comic books, art books, original art, wine, and coffee.  Part of how we express our love for one another is through the passions we’ve discovered along the way. Check back often—we have so much to share with you!

Several years back, we started collecting all kinds of drink and food recipes—then customizing them to suit our own tastes and dietary requirements. At various times in our lives, we’ve been omnivores, carnivores, vegetarians, vegans, gluten-free, while always loving bacon! Additionally, we have searched the globe for our favorite drinks! J has a particular love for whiskeys—particularly ryes—while K has developed a taste for fantastic red wines. These are non-exclusive choices—we share each other’s passions while concentrating on our favorites. Of course, rum-soaked Tiki drinks hold a special place in both our hearts.
